We're Back and this time In Black

Introducing my new boy

GRCH Bronze Regalane’s Kool Hand Luka
...made his debut in conformation Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show. Handled as always by Luke and Rowan Baggenstos and their team, Luka won the breed under Judge Richard Lewis and topped the day off in the Working Group with a Group 3 placement under respected Judge Bonnie Linnell Clarke. What a fabulous start to this young dog’s career!

Luka finished his championship in just 5 shows and is currently # 2 in the breed and #2 all breed with limited showing. He has also earned 5 working group placements to date under respected judges: Bonnie Linnell Clarke (Group 3 – Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers), David R. Denis (Group 4 – Portland KC), Sharol Candace Way (Group 4 – Portland KC), Wanda V. Spediacci (Group 3 – Gig Harbor KC), and Wendy G. Willhauck (Group 3 - San Joaquin KC).

Luka’s sire is my very own Lukas, Multi BISS AKC Silver Grand Champion/Canadian/International Champion Oakwood v. Kaitlers ReVival (the top winning German Pinscher in AKC history) and his dam is Champion Regalane’s Elegant Lady, CD, BN, CGC aka Ellie. Needless to say Barbara Lane (his breeder) at Regalane German Pinschers and I are so very proud of this boy and look forward to showing him over the next few years.

Feb. 14, 2017 - Luka won the breed at the Westminster Kennel Club  under Judge Walter J. Sommerfelt.  The judge loved him and thanked us for coming with such a standout German Pinscher!
Thanks as always go to Luke Baggenstos as well as the judge Judge Walter J. Sommerfelt.

Luka is definitely following in his daddy's footsteps with this win.

Jan. 20, 2017 - Luka wins a Group 4th in Rose City at the Dog Fanciers Ass'n of Oregon under Judge Marjorie Martorella (pictured below)

My boy Luka has been busy showing the past couple of weeks, winning Best of Breed at shows in California and Washington and adding two more group placements to his record — a Group 3 under Judge Wendy G. Willhauck at the San Joaquin Kennel Club show on Nov. 28th and a Group 4 under Judge Jan C. Sigler at the Greater Clark County Kennel Club show on Dec. 10th. Since entering the ring this past June, Luka has continued to improve and mature and absolutely loves the show ring just like his daddy, Lukas. He will finish the year as the #2 German Pinscher in both breed and all-breed (AKC), which is outstanding given his limited amount of showing (just 6 months) in 2016. Huge thanks to Luke and Rowan Baggenstos for their expert handling and love of my boy. Team Baggenstos is the best!!

Luka had another amazing weekend winning Best of Breed over great entries all 4 days at the combined Mount Rainier Working Dog Club and Olympic Kennel Club shows.  He finished his AKC Championship (pictured above) the first day and was moved up to the specials ring for the remainder of the shows. He is well on his way to earning his Bronze Grand Championship now.

CH Regalanes Lady in Red
Layla aka 'LQ', who just made her debut into showing this August, finished her AKC championship by earning her 5th major September 19, 2015 at the Gig Harbor Kennel Club Show under Judge Lisa R. DeRoulet. Layla, who is just 9-months old, impressed the judges at each show with her exceptional conformation, fluid movement and fun-loving temperament.
We are so proud of her. Huge thanks to Barbara Lane, her breeder, for entrusting this lovely girl to me and to Luke and Rowan Baggenstos and their team for the excellent handling and loving care they give to my dogs.

WOW what a fabulous weekend of showing!!! Lukas and Layla competed with 7 other German Pinschers August 13th - 16th, 2015.

Lukas won Best of Breed both days of the Mount Rainer Working Dog Club shows plus Best of Breed one day and Best of Opposite Sex the other day at the Olympic Kennel Club shows.

Regalanes Lady in Red aka Layla, who made her debut in the show ring the weekend before, won Winners Bitch at the Mount Rainer Working Dog Club show on August 14th, and Winners Bitch at the Olympic Kennel Club shows on August 15th & 16th earning 3-point majors for each win, and Reserve Winners Bitch the other day. Needless to say, I am thrilled!!!

Layla is pictured above with Judge Sandra Walker at just under 9 months of age. She was bred by Barbara Lane at Regalane German Pinschers. Judge Sandra Walker was very complimentary when taking the photo and was surprised to hear that this was only Layla’s second weekend in the ring.

HUGE THANKS to Team Baggenstos for the expert handling and the loving care of my dogs. You are the best!!!
